unmarried Male, unmarried Female candidates & also from Wards of Battle
Casualties of Army Personnel, for grant of Short Service Commission in the
Indian Army under NCC Special Entry Scheme 41 Course – Apr 2017. Eligible
candidates can apply online from 21-07-2016 at 10:00 Hrs to 18-08-2016 by 17:00
Hrs & send hard copy of application on or before 22-08-2016 for NCC ‘C’
Certificate Holders and send hard copy of application on or before 22-08-2016
for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel. Other details like age limit,

Name of the Course & Posts: NCC Special Entry Scheme 41th Course – Apr 2017
1. NCC Men: 50 Posts
i. Gen Category: 45 Posts
ii. Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel: 05 Posts
2. NCC Women: 05 Posts
i. Gen Category: 04 Posts
ii. Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel: 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 19 to 25 years as on 01-01-2017 (born not earlier than 02-01-1992 & not later than 01-01-1998, both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks, minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC & have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders & Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks for for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel Only.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
How to Apply:
For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Eligible candidates can apply online through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 21-07-2016 at 10:00 Hrs to 18-08-2016 by 17:00 Hrs & 01 copy of the print out of application form duly signed, photograph affixed & self attested along with all documents to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ Certificate has been issued on or before 22-08-2016.
For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with certificates as given in notification to Directorate General of Recruiting/ Rtg-A, NCC Entry, AG’s Branch, IHQ of MoD (Army)’ West BlockIII, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 on or before 22-08-2016.
