Surgeon Posts: Medical Officer Selection Board (CAPFs) – 2016,
Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General, Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has published notification for the recruitment of
661 Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), Medical Officers
(Assistant Commandant) & Dental Surgeon(Assistant Commandant) vacancies in
Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles), Ministry
of Home Affairs, Government of India. Eligible candidates may apply in
prescribed application format within 30 days from the date of advertisement
& 45 days for remote areas. Other details like age limit, educational

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be not
exceed 40 years for Post No. 01, 30 years for Post No. 02 & 35 years for
Post No. 03 as on last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is
applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates. For

Educational Qualification: Candidates should
have A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines
included in the first or second schedule or Part–II of the third schedule
(other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Holders of educational qualifications included in Part–II of the third schedule
should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub Section (3) of Section
(13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and The applicant must have
permanent registration from any State Medical Council/ MCI before appointment
in any of the CAPFs with compulsory rotating internship and Post Graduation
Degree/ Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section ‘A’ or in
Section ‘B’ in Schedule-I or equivalent for Post No. 01, A recognized medical
qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second
schedule or Part–II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification)
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications
included in Part–II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions
stipulated in Sub Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council
Act, 1956 and The applicant must have permanent registration from any State
Medical Council/ MCI before appointment in any of the CAPFs for Post No. 02
& Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized University/
Institution included in the schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948) and
registered with Dental Council of India for Post No. 03 with relevant
experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based
on medical exam, merit & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- (Non
Refundable) for General and OBC candidates through crossed IPO/ Bank Draft/
Banker Cheque of Nationalised Bank in favour of DIG(Adm), Directorate General,
CRPF payable at State Bank of India, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road New Delhi. No fee
for SC, ST and Female candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their
completely filled and duly signed application in prescribed format Self
attested two recent passport size photographs (one should be pasted on
the application form at the space provided and the other on Admit Card
copy), self attested copies of date of birth certificate, educational
qualification certificate, medical registration certificate, caste certificate
and 02 self addressed unstamped envelopes of 11.5 x 27.5 cms. size are attached
& fee in an envelope should be super scribed with “Application for the post
of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant)/ Medical Officers (Assistant
Commandant)/ Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant)” to the Deputy Inspector
General (rectt.) Medical officer selection board (cAPFS) –2016 HQ DG CRPF,
Block No. 01, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110 003 within 30 days from
the date of advertisement & 45 days for remote areas.
