National Institute of Medical Statistics Recruitment 2017 – 33 Consultant, Project Asst & Other Posts: National Institute of Medical Statistics, Indian Council of Medical Research has issued a notification for the recruitment of 33 Consultant (Medical), Computer Programmer (Grade A), Project Assistants & Data Entry Operator (Grade A) vacancies for the project “Comparing methods of assigning causes of death” on temporary basis. 1. Consultant (Medical): 01 Post
2. Computer Programmer (Grade A): 01 Post
3. Project Assistants: 30 Posts
4. Data Entry Operator (Grade A): 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 70 years for Post 1, 30 years for Post 2 & 3, 25 years for Post 4. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Professionals with MD/ MS or Ph.D in Medical Science and published papers for Post 1, Master’s degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science from a recognized University or BE/ B.Tech in Computer Engineering/ IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Technology, from a recognized University for Post 2, Graduate in Statistics/ Social Science/ Social Work from a recognized university with Three years experience in health survey or Master degree in Statistics/ Social Science/ Social Work for Post 3 & 12th Pass from recognized board, a speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer for Post 4.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.
