UPSC IES/ ISS Exam 2017 – Apply Online for 44 Posts: Union
Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment
of 44 vacancies by conducting Indian Economic Service & Indian Statistical
Service Examination 2017 in Junior Time Scale of the Services. Eligible
candidates may apply online from 08-02-2017 to 03-03-2017 till 18:00 hrs. Other

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between
21-30 years as on 01-08-2017 (He/ she must have been born not earlier than
02-08-1987 and not later than 01-08-1996). Age relaxation is applicable 5 years
for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & for others as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should
possess Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business
Economics/ Econometrics for Post 1, Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/
Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s
degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics for Post 2.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected
based on Written Examination, Interview/ Personality Test.
Application Fee: Candidates have to Pay Rs.
200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by Cash or by using
net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of
Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of
Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No Fee for Female/ SC/
ST/ PH candidates.

03-03-2017 till 18:00 hrs.
