Punjab Police Recruitment 2016 – Apply Online for 200 Male Constable Posts: Punjab Police has given a notification for the recruitment of 200 Male Constable vacancies in the Special Security Group (Special Protection Unit) in Armed Police Cadre, of Punjab Police on direct recruitment. Eligible candidates may apply online from 09:00 am on 08-10-2016 to 11:59 pm on 28-10-2016. Punjab Police Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 200
Name of the Posts: Male Constable

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is admissible SC/ ST and Backward Classes, Ex Serviceman candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute and have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as the one of the subject.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Substance Abuse Test, physical efficiency test, physical measurement, written test & Interview -cum- Personality Test.

Application Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs. 400/- for General category candidates Rs. 100/- SC/ ST/ BC candidates through online or off line. Ex Serviceman Candidates exempted form Application fee.

Online Mode: Applicants required to pay the application fee through online by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card.

Off Line Mode: Applicants required to pay application fee through challan form generated online and visit any of the HDFC Bank branches/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras and seek acknowledgment for records.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply Online through the website www.punjabpolicerecruitment.in from 09:00 am on 08-10-2016 to 11:59 pm on 28-10-2016.

1. Before applying Online Applicants have valid Registration & scan their photograph and signature.
2. Applicants should log on the website www.punjabpolicerecruitment.in.
3. Go to Special Security Group (Special Protection Unit) & Select the desired post.
4. Read the Notification & Follow the instructions as given in the website.
5. Again Click on “Click here to Register & Apply” & Fill all the details in the Form.
6. Check once before submit the application form.
7. Now take a print out of online application for future use.
