Bank of India (RBI) has advertised a notification for the recruitment of
Officers in Grade ‘B’(General) vacancies for Department of Economic and Policy
Research & Department of Statistics and Information Management on temporary
basis. Eligible candidates can apply Online from 19-07-2016 to 09-08-2016.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21-30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/07/1986 and not later than 01/07/1995) & 32 and 34 years for M.Phil and Ph.D qualification candidates as on 01-07-2016. Age relaxation is 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ ST, 10 years for PWD (General), 13 years
for PWD (OBC) &15 years for PWD (SC/ ST) candidates admissible as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Economics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/ Institute or Doctorate Degree in Economics with Master’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 55% marks or
an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/ Institute for S.No-1, Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IITBombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years or Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in
aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute for S.No-2 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on applicants performance in Online examination & interview.
Application Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs. 600/- for General/ OBC & Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD through online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
