Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 23 to 28 years as on 01-08-2013.Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should pass Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board/ university and must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test/ driving test/ technical test/ PST/PET and medical examination.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.150/-for general and OBC in the form of non refundable Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ, SSB, Siliguri, (West Bengal) ” payable at SBI Siliguri, Code No.0184.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of educational qualification certificates, date of birth certificate, a photocopy of valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, two self addressed envelopes of 4×9 size duly affixed with postage stamps of Rs. 25/- each on it and Bank DD/ Bankers Cheque, etc to The Inspector General, FTR HQ (SSB), Siliguri, Village:Ranidanga, PO: Matigara, Distt:- Darjeeling, (West Bengal) Pin:- 734010 on or before 01-08-2013 and applications (by post) for the candidates from North-Eastern States, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba, Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur Districts of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh Division, Kashmir of J&K State and the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar islands and the Lakshadweep will be 08-08-2013.
