Punjab Police Recruitment 2016 – Apply Online for Sub Inspector Posts: Punjab Police has advertised notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (Operator) vacancies in Information Technology & Telecommunication Wing of Punjab Police for male and female candidates. Name of the Post: Sub Inspector (Operator)

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 28 years as on 01-01-2016.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) or Bachelor of Science (Informatio Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in any of the following branches (ECE, CSE, IT, Software Engineering) or Graduation in any other stream with A leve Computer Course or above from a National Institute of Electronics & information Technology or Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) or Post Graduation Diploma/ Post Graduation in Computer Application/ Information Technology from any recognized University with adequate experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on applicants performance in physical efficiency test, physical measurement, written test & interview.

Application Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs. 400/- for General category candidates including wards of Punjab Police Personnel and wards of Freedom Fighters and Rs. 100/- SC/ ST/ BC candidates through online or off line. Ex Serviceman Candidates are exempted from this Application fee.

Online Mode: Applicants required to pay the fee through by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card.

Off Line Mode: Applicants required to pay the fee through challan form generated online and visit any of the HDFC Bank branches/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras and seek acknowledgement for records.
