Exam Details
CBSE UGC NET Application Form 2018 Online Submission
(for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor) has been started from
6th March to 5th April 2018. UGC NET 2018 Notification (Detailed
Notice) has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education to
conduct UGC NET 2018 examination. UGC National Eligibility Test 2018
examination will be held on 8th July 2018. This is an offline examination
which is conducted to determine the National Eligibility for Assistant
Professor OR Junior Research Fellowship in both Indian Universities and
Colleges OR for Both certificates. Therefore, yearly a huge number of
candidates apply for it.
AAdhar card is
mandatory
Aadhaar card is mandatory to fill CBSE UGC NET 2018
Application Form. An applicant will have to enter their Aadhaar card number,
Name, DOB (Date of Birth), and Gender to Register for UGC NET 2018 Online
Application. Candidates who don't have Aadhaar card should apply for the
Aadhaar enrollment. Candidates who are from J&K, Meghalaya, and Assam can
apply with the valid govt identification number like ration
card, bank account, and passport.
Earlier, CBSE conducts UGC National Eligibility Test twice
in a year. However, now Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided
to conduct UGC NET Examination only once in a year from 2018. Candidates who
will get the Junior Research Fellowship award will be eligible to pursue
research in their Post Graduation subject. Candidates will be able to pursue
the research from IITs or any other national organisations. CBSE will conduct
UGC NET exam in 85 subjects at 91 selected NET examination cities which are
spread across India.

UGC NET 2018 Eligibility Criteria :
Educational
Qualification: To apply for the UGC NET 2018 examination, candidates
should have to qualify with at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent
from any University / Institute which should be recognised by UGC. Candidates
must have their graduation degree in the listed subjects. Candidates who are
belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category should have at least 50% marks in Master’s
Degree.
Candidates have appeared in the final year of Master’s,
whose result is not declared yet, and whose examination has been delayed can
also apply and fill CBSE UGC 2018 Application Form.
All the Ph.D degree holder candidates if your master’s
degree examination has been completed by 19th September 1991 then you will be
eligible to apply for UGC NET 2018 with the relaxation of 5% in aggregate
marks.
All the applicants are advised to appear only in the subject
of their post-graduation. If your post-graduation subject is not covered in the
list of subjects then you can appear in a related subject.
Age Limit for UGC NET

Junior Research
Fellowship: If you are going to appear in UGC NET Exam 2018 for
Junior Research Fellowship, then your age should not more than 30 years as on
1st July 2018. 5 years of age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
Assistant Professor: Candidates
who are going to appear in UGC NET 2018 examination for Assistant professor
then they can apply at any age because there is no upper age limit for
Assistant Professor.
