INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. The candidate has to produce
his/her admit card having scanned photo and signature thereon at the start of
the exam along with the photo ID. If any candidate does not possess the scanned
photo at his/her admit card, he/she will be allowed to sit in the examination
only if he/she produce admit card with pasted photograph attested by the
Gazetted Officer alongwith photo I-Card.
2. No candidate is permitted to use
the paper, cellular phone, F.M. radio and even the calculator, any other
electronic device or weapon of any kind in the exam.
3. Drinking and smoking in the exam
centre is strictly prohibited. A candidate found intoxicated or is found
smoking will be made to leave the examination hall and the result of the
candidate will be cancelled.
4. Every candidate must ensure that
they have taken the assigned seat. They are not allowed to change the seat
under any circumstances.
5. Differently abled candidates
(only blind and handicapped from hands) are allowed to have a writer with them.
In such cases they have to prove their genuineness and have to show the
certificates of the writers. The education qualification of the writer is less
than the minimum qualifications for PSTET. The differently abled candidates
shall be given 20 minutes extra for every one hour.
6. Any candidate affected from any
communicable disease, may request to invigilator for separate sitting
arrangement.
7. No candidate will be permitted
to leave the examination hall till the entire duration of the paper is
completed. However in some exceptional cases, the same may be allowed only with
the permission of the Centre Superintendent by retaining the Question Booklet
of the candidate.
8. Use only Blue/Black ball point
pen to darken the circle of correct response and other details in the OMR
Sheet. In no case gel/ink pen or pencil should be used.
9. Candidates must mention the
details as well as darken the ovals clearly at the desired places of the OMR
Sheet. Overwriting or cutting in the OMR Sheets may result in cancellation of
exam.

Note: There are 2 options for the Paper-II (a) Mathematics & Science
and (b) Social Studies/Social Science. Each option is of 60 marks. The
Candidates are required to attempt any one options out of two.
11. The Candidates for the Paper-II
must darken the oval of concerned option name at the appropriate place.
12. There are 4 sets of question
papers A, B, C & D. Candidates must write and darken the oval of their
series on the OMR Sheet at all the desired places. If a candidate does not
write and darken the oval of their series on the OMR Sheet at the appropriate
place, his/her candidature will be considered as cancelled.
13. There is no negative marking.
Every correct answer carries '1' mark.
14. Do not darken more than one
circle of options for any question. A question with more than one darkened
response shall be considered wrong.
15. Please do not open the question
paper booklet until you are told to do so. In case any candidate opens the question
paper booklet before the stipulated time, action may be initiated against
him/her as per rules.
16. Do the rough work on the space
given in the Question Booklet.
17. Candidates can carry Question
Booklets with them only after the completion of Examination. The candidates
will also be provided last carbon copy (Candidate’s Copy) of their OMR Sheet.
