Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 – 40 years for General Candidates, 18 to 42 years for Physically Challenged, 18 to 43 years for RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC/ SLC category candidates, 18 – 45 years for Candidates in Govt. Service (in respect of candidates already working in H&ME Department) and 18 to 48 years for Ex-serviceman candidates as on 01-01-2017.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduation Degree in Anatomy i.e. M.S for Medical Peron for Anatomy Department, Ph.D in Anatomy for Non-Medical Persons for Anatomy Department, Post Graduation Degree in pathology i.e MD Pathology/ Path. And bact., Ph.D., D.Sc. Specialty board of Pathology (USA) or MRCP, Path. (UK) for Pathology Department, M.S. (Ortho). M.Ch.(Ortho)/ specialty board of Orthopedics Surgery (USA) or equivalent qualification for Orthopedics Department, M.D (Obst. &Gynae.) M.S. (Obst. &Gynae.), M.O/ M.R.C.O, M.D/ M.S (Midwifery and Gynae.), Specialty board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (USA) for Gynae & Obst Department, M.D in Microbiology 02 years Demonstrator-ship in Microbiology for Pediatrics Micro Biology Department and As registrar/ Tutor, Demonstrator/ Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/ Kashmir with The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on exam.

Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.805/- for General and Rs. 405/- for Reserved candidates through online challan to be deposited in the J&K Bank branch.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should have valid email id & phone number, passport size photogrpah & signature.
2. Log on through the website www.jkpsc.nic.in
3. Click on One Time Registration & Fill all the details.
4. After successful registration, login with user name & password.
5. Fill all the required fields & upload the recent photo and sign.
6. Go to “Show Jobs” menu & Click on Apply button.
7. Check the details & submit the form.
8. Take printout of online application for future use.
