CTET September 2015/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi would conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2015 for granting eligibility for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. TheCTET September 2015 Application form will be available online from 30 July to 19 August 2015. The exam would be held in offline mode on 20 September 2015 all over the country. There are two types of eligibility that are granted through the CTET examination – Primary level (Class I to V) and Elementary level (Class VI to VIII). Interested eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form through the official website of CBSE/CTET and register for the examination. Introduction to the Board

CBSE is the biggest education board of the country which has affiliations to Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools, and government approved and operated schools. The board is regulated by Ministry of Education, Government of India. It has the highest number of affiliations and is considered prestigious in terms of curriculum, training and skill development facilities.

 CTET 2015 Posts cum Designations

There are two designations for which eligibility is granted by CBSE. These designations are classified as per the classes/standards. The two posts cum designations for which certificate would be issued are:
·         Primary Level Teacher: Classes I-V
·         Junior Level Teacher: Classes VI-VIII

CTET 2015 Eligibility Criteria

Every candidate must read the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. It is a set of terms and conditions that must be met by the interested candidate. If a candidate is discovered to be missing on any of the terms, he would be disqualified from the process. The clauses of eligibility criteria are here as follows:

Primary Level Teacher (Classes I-V)

·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 45% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (for reserved category candidates). OR
·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Special Education. OR
·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
·         Graduate and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Elementary Stage (Class VI-VIII)

·         Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
·         Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
·         Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (for reserved category candidates). OR
·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
·         Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
·         Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET 2015 Application Form

Candidates can fill the application form in online mode only. The process of application must be started only after reading all the terms and conditions of eligibility, and instructions pertaining to the application form process. The form must be supplied with only correct, complete, valid, and functional details of personal, educational qualification, and communicational nature. Application form submission can be done from 30 July to 19 August 2015. The process of application is as follows:
·         Open the official website of CTET (www.ctet.nic.in) or CBSE (www.cbse.nic.in) to register.
·         Search for the appropriate link on the homepage of the websites OR CLICK HERE (direct link of application form).
·         Enter all the asked details in the fields. Make sure information is correct and complete.
·         Re-check the entered details and make corrections, if needed.
·         Upload scanned copy of the candidate’s signature and photograph in provided resolution and format.
·         Submit the application form and generate printout for future reference.

CTET 2015 Application Fees

Without payment of application fee, no application form would be considered. Candidates have to pay the application fee to complete the registration process. It is suggested to keep the payment receipt safe till the selection process is complete.

CTET 2015 Selection Process

Final selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination. If a candidate meets the criteria of minimum qualifying marks, he would be selected and issued the eligibility certificate by the board. It is necessary to score well in the examination to increase the chances of getting the certificate.

CTET Admit Card 2015

CBSE will release the CTET Admit Card on 04 September 2015. Applicants can download the admit card by entering their assigned registration number and the password. Admit card is mandatory document that each candidates have to download and bring to the examination center. Details of examination venue will be mentioned on the CTET Admit card.
