SSC Southern Region Recruitment 2014 – JTA, Asst Programmer & Other Posts: Staff Selection Commission Southern Region (SSCSR) has given employment notification for the recruitment of Junior Technical Assistant (JTA), Quarantine Inspector, Research Assistant, Assistant Programmer, Assistant Epigraphist, Artist Grade II and Sales Assistant vacancies. Eligible candidates may send their applications on or before 24-11-2014 by 05.00 PM and 01-12-2014 for Far Flung Areas. 7. Sales Assistant: 03 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 30 years for Posts 1 to 5, 18 years to 25 years for Post 6 and 18 years to 30 years for Post 7. Cutoff date for determining age limit is 24-11-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree in Commerce or Economics or Degree in Law for Post 1, Bachelor of Science with Zoology or Microbiology as one of the essential subjects for Post 2, Master’s Degree in relevant specialty for Post 3, Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Master of Technology with specialization in Computer Application for Post 4, Master’s degree in Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada/ History with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level for Post 5, Matriculation, Diploma for Post 6 and Intermediate for Post 7 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Screening Test/ Written Proficiency Test/ Skill Test/ Interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.50/- in the form of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” available in all Post Offices. Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space provided and got cancelled by the Post Office. No Fee for Female, SC, ST, PH & Ex Servicemen candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format along with examination fees, photograph affixed on application form, two additional photographs and self attested copies of certificates in support of age proof, educational qualifications, experience, caste etc addressed to The Regional Director (SR), Staff Selection Commission, 2nd Floor, EVK Sampath Building, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai 600006 on or before 24-11-2014 by 05.00 PM and 01-12-2014 for Far Flung Areas.
